I am working as a PhD candidate at the developmental psychology program group at University of Amsterdam, where I research the relationships between problematic digital media use (i.e., social media, gaming, pornography) and mental health in adolescents.

For this, I work with a variety of methods, including qualitative research, surveys, cognitive testing, and longitudinal research (e.g., cohort studies, intensive longitudinal data).

My main areas of (research) interests include (behavioural) addiction, development, well-being and mental health, life meaning, and identity.
